Cape Constellation & Africa Space Ventures × Counder
On 29 January 2026, Cape Constellation hosted a private brunch in Cape Town to mark its soft launch, held alongside a breakout brunch during Counder.
Designed as an intimate gathering, the morning brought together founders, investors, partners, and members of the broader space and innovation ecosystem for a first, shared introduction to the Cape Constellation vision.
There is something fitting about beginning this journey at the Cape - a place defined by convergence, perspective, and outward-looking ambition. The conversations around the table reflected exactly what Cape Constellation was created to support: early alignment between people, ideas, and capital at the very start of the venture journey.
Official Launch of Africa Space Ventures
The brunch also marked the official launch of Africa Space Ventures, the investment and venture studio, operated through the Cape Constellation, to help translate innovation into sustainable, scalable outcomes for Africa.
Together, Cape Constellation and Africa Space Ventures represent a shared commitment to long-term value creation - combining ecosystem building, capital, and strategic support to enable African space and deep-tech ventures to thrive.
A Considered Beginning
This was not intended to be a loud launch, but a deliberate one.
Rather than announcements, the focus was on dialogue.
Rather than scale, the focus was on substance.
What comes next will be shaped by the relationships, insights, and conversations that began around the table that morning.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped form the first points of alignment in what we are building together.
